At Fleckenstein Castle, ChâteauXperience offers a unique immersive journey into the world of medieval castles in the Northern Vosges and the Palatinate. Through audiovisual displays, immersive installations and interactive exhibits, this new indoor experience invites you to discover the shared history of a region once part of the Holy Roman Empire.
Why were so many castles built here? How were they constructed? What was life like inside their walls, and why were so many of them destroyed?
ChâteauXperience answers these questions while offering a fresh perspective on Fleckenstein. Designed to complement your castle visit, this experience, available in French, German and English, invites you to explore further the region’s exceptional cross-border castle heritage.
