Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Yes : providing they are kept on a lead, they are welcome everywhere on the site except the inside the P’tit Fleck Sandstone and Forest play area (below the castle).

To enter the castle please notify the ticket sales desk if you have a large dog (too big to carry in your arms) so that we can arrange easy access at the entry point.

At the exit from the car park, go straight ahead to the end of the road. One minute parking (the driver is not permitted to leave the vehicule) is allowed at the turning circle just next to the ticket desk.
No, there is only one ticket desk at the entrance to the site below the castle.
It is the discovery trail of Fleckenstein castle and its surroundings, especially designed for a family visit. It includes a visit to the P’tit Fleck.

Possible but difficult.Don’t try it alone. For the very young use baby back packs, slings or shawls.

For children old enough to walk, alternate push chair and walking in the steep bits or get someone to help you. You should leave your pushchair in the courtyard of the castle as it is impossible to take it on the stairs.

From the end of March until 11th November from 10 o’clock every day. For closing times and
openings in winter see the time table.

Because of the length of time taken to complete the trail, tickets are sold until 2h 30 before closing time (see time table).
